Every 26th of the month we celebrate at the Grant house because our babies are another month older. My son was born exactly 14 months after his sister and we shower double the love on the 26th. Its a good day to be a Grant baby! 😉
On the 24th (2 days before her 18 month-aversary) our Ryley bear had a play date with her best friend Lexie. Lexie is almost a year older then bear and these two girls get along so well together. Plus I’m good friends with her momma, and its always nice to talk with someone who understands babies.

At the end of the night the girls started to get a little rambunctious and started to run around in circles and up and down the halls. I was excited that they were getting out some energy before bed but then Ryley’s body and legs went two different directions. She slid into the edge of the coffee table and hit her eye. My heart dropped into my stomach and I snatched her up before she could even cry. My little girl has to be the toughest person I know because she barely cried. Lexie went home and my baby girl has a good ouchie on her face.
Poor sweet girl, shes such a trooper.
Sigh. Back to the celebrating part. Avery turned 4 months and Ryley turned 18 months on the 26th. To celebrate I let Ryley eat yogurt by herself! It may not seem like much but she loved it and she was actually not as messy as I thought. For little brother, he got his first taste of cereal. He loved it and slurped it down. It was a great day for sure.
Bear with her yogurt!
Cereal time for Avery!
So besides the boo-boo that Ryley got this week, we had a great time. I told Ryon that I can’t believe in 6 months (it’ll go fast!) my baby girl will be 2! We make sure to enjoy every little milestone because they grow so fast.
