|Meatball pot pie|
I went to the grocery store this weekend.. and didn’t buy anything that could be used for dinner this week. sigh. I bought food for my best friends baby shower and my birthday dinner.. a lot of food. And we have none of it left. And I refuse to go to the grocery store again this week. So Im making dinner with what I have in the freezer. Which is mostly chicken. But I’m stubborn and thats what we are going to eat.. mostly chicken.
Monday – Super moist pork chops
Tuesday – Chicken artichoke casserole
Wednesday – MY BIRTHDAY DINNER! 🙂
Thursday – Cheesy chicken and rice
Friday – Italian sausage and veggie pasta
Two weeks ago I made that delicious meatball pot pie for dinner.. and Im still drooling over it. The recipe was pretty simple. I didnt take pictures of the prep but here is how to make it..
Deep shell pot pie
Rollable pie crust
Preheat oven to 425 and prepare pie crusts
Brown pepper and onion in large skillet
Add meatballs, pasta sauce and cheese
Return to heat until its bubbling
Pour meatball mixture into pie crust
Top with remaining cheese
Add rollable crust to top and cut holes in it
Cook 25 to 35 minutes or until pie crust is golden brown
