Ryley loves to color.. a lot. She has more crayons then I ever thought possible and we just keep getting more. My mom just bought her four new boxes of 24 crayolas (they were only .25 cents!) and some new triangle ones too. When I’m not stepping on crayons, and the dogs not eating them we normally keep them in a plastic cup. I’m not a fan of the cup and with the new colors we needed something bigger. So I took something else that we have an abundance of and created her a spanking new crayon box. Heres how we transformed a formula container into a crayon carrier..
We removed all the labels, washed the tub and took off the top.
We painted the tub.
Here is the tub drying.
Then we added a little label..
and stuffed it full of crayons!
Not only did I upcycle something I normally toss, but now we have a cute container for Ryley’s millions of crayons. We just acrylic paints and some paintbrushes for this simple project. It was super easy and only took 2 hours. I love the way it turned out!
