Last week I talked about how I was in a funk and I had fallen off the diet/exercise wagon. Im happy to report that not only have I jumped back on, but I lost another pound! I am down a total of almost 17 pounds since I started Shaklee. [!!!!!] Excited does not begin to explain how I feel when I realize how far I’ve come.
I love working out now. At first I could care less about it and didn’t like getting sweaty. I worried that people at the gym were looking at me because I was fat. [Sad but true.] Now, I love going. I bought new workout clothes and I try and get as sweaty as possible. I get to the gym 3 days a week and do arms one day, legs one day and abs on Friday. I love ab day. This is my basic ab routine I do..
I do each exercise for 30 seconds and then rest for 30 seconds. I then do 5 burpees to get my heart rate back up and start the routine all over again. Its a pretty easy routine but if you do it fast enough and keep your heart rate up you will really feel it in the morning. Next to burpees, my second hated exercise is plank. Oh plank. I love to hate you.
Thats how you do a fat girl version of a plank. [Kidding.] Try and get your butt as low as possible and hold it as long as you can. I once saw a guy put a 25 pound weight on his back. He be crazy. Here is how I look after an ab routine..
My husband is a lucky lucky man! I had a lady tell me today that I looked so skinny. I kissed her. [Kidding.] But I am excited to keep on swimming in my weight loss journey. I love the results and more importantly I love the way I feel.
