Hey yall! We are in Michigan this weekend to celebrate my in-laws 35th wedding anniversary. We tried to keep it a surprise but it was spoiled 3 days before we flew up. I was SO bummed but still excited for the trip. And it worked out because everyone had enough notice to ask for time off work so we could all hang out.
I am currently hanging out in my in-laws living room with all the kids – mine and all the cousins. All the guys went hunting since it’s opening weekend and my sister in laws and I are all deer widows. Which is a big thing up here in Michigan. Ah well.. just gives me more time to think about food. Oh yes.
Meatless Monday: Black Bean Tostadas with Corn Relish // I love a good tostada recipe yall. They are endless because you can add almost anything to them. Plus this one is meatless so it’s even more perfect.
Tuesday: Pizza Pitas // Take a delicious pizza and make it portable. Yes, please!
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Chicken Marsala Stew// Yall, I love marsala sauce. On anything. It’s so so good and this stew is no exception.
Thursday: Paleo Orange Chicken // I have to confess, I’ve never had orange chicken before! Now is a good time to start, huh?
Friday: One Pot Spaghetti and Meatballs // ONE pot and 30ish minutes to dinner perfection.
Breakfast: Banana Chocolate Chip Fluffernutter French Toast Casserole // Another foodie confession, I’ve never had fluffernutter before! I know what it is (marshmallow and peanut butter) but I haven’t personally had it before. Adding it to my must try list ASAP!
Dessert: Cranberry chocolate chunk brownies // These sound like a perfect fall/winter dessert!
