This cheesy tortellini skillet takes 30 minutes to make and is cooked in one pan!
One of my high school friends came into town this past week. We were all excited to see her and planned to have dinner on Thursday night. We went to a little sushi place in town. There were 5 of us and we ended up running into another group of friends that were already eating there. We all squished into a table together and chatted about the good ole days. And since we are adults we went for ice cream afterwards.
I realized that when our group from high school gets together, we still act like we are in high school. We tell the same stories, laugh at the same jokes and talk about people from high school. [In a good way.] Seriously, I think we have been laughing at the same jokes for almost 15 years now. I would tell you what they are, but they are high school jokes, which means the maturity level is low. Its a lot of potty humor. And since we act like we are in high school, we are also loud. [Ahhh good times.]
The only difference is we are adults. I looked around the table and instead of iced teas a few of us had beers. [Which seemed to make us louder.] And instead of pizza or burgers we were eating sushi. Other then that, still the same conversation. Although our humor has stayed the same, our food taste has matured a bit. Oh and there is social media now too. But we went old school and no one really played with their phones while we were out. [We only shared one picture on instragram.] Good food and good friends. Can’t beat that!
